In keeping with the regional influence, the traditional-vernacular style architecture of Kerala has been assumed for the cottages, villas including the main lobby.
The Mukhapu (gable or triangular upper part) and shingle sloping roof are dominant across all edifices.
Each living space has a Poomukham – the main entrance portico soon after steps to the room. The steps are straddled by the majestic heads of elephants on either side.
Along the Poomukham, benches with carved decorative resting wooden pieces for resting the back are provided. This is called Charupady.
The ‘Manichitrathazhu’ peacock door locks are ornamented in brass and embellish the front wooden doors.
The entire resort has Open lay-out living spaces.
